The National Balloon Museum regrets to announce the temporary closure of its facilities due to a recent fire incident. Our utmost priority remains the safety and well-being of our visitors, staff, and cherished exhibits. In the early hours of March 29th, 2024, a fire broke out within the museum premises, causing damage to certain areas. While swift action was taken to contain the situation and minimize the impact, the extent of the damage requires through assessment and restoration efforts. As a result, the scheduled reopening on April 6th, 2024 is regrettably cancelled until further notice.

We understand the anticipation and excitement surrounding this event, and we share in the disappointment of this unforeseen circumstance. The National Balloon Museum Team is working diligently alongside relevant authorities and experts to assess the damage, initiate resoration processes, and ensure that the museum is restored to its full glory at the earliest opportunity. We extend our deepest gratitude to the emergency responders who swiftly and effectively managed the situation.
