Guided Tours

Tours are available for adults, youth or children's group. Our tour guides are very well versed on the many aspects of the Museum. Depending on how many people there are in the group we may divide the group. Part of the group will watch a video about ballooning in our theater and the rest of the group will start their history journey through our exhibits.

Youth tours for under 4 are free and for ages 5-18 the fee is $1.00.

Adult tours are $5 per adult with no charge for the bus driver and the group's tour leader.

The guided parts of the tour can range from 30 minutes to 1 hour with additional time for browsing the exhibits areas according to the time frame desired by the group

We can also arrange for a tour of  National Ballooning Ltd., a local area balloon manufacturer, for an additional fee: $5.00 per adult or $1 under age 12.  No fee is charged for your group leader and bus driver.  Contact the Balloon Museum for details:    (515) 961 3714.

For tour reservations and cost, please contact the museum by E-MAIL or call 515-961-3714 or fill out the Reservation Form in PDF format and mail it in.
