The Jill Rubin Memorial Window

This window was given in memory of Jill Rubin, one of Indianola’s local balloon pilots who died suddenly while attending the International Balloon Fiesta in Albuquerque, New Mexico in October of 2000. The window features two balloons that Jill owned along with several generic balloons and the water tower on the Simpson College campus where ballooning began in Indianola. The window is approximately six feet in diameter and is located on East side of the building. It was dedicated on December 16, 2001.

Window designed and made by Indianola artist Grant Dyer (Glass Dragon)
