Stained Glass Window Project

The window designs below are proposed to replace 7 clarstory clear glass windows in the main mall of the Museum which are weathered and broken and need replacing.  They will also reduce sunlight from coming in to damage artifacts in the Museum.   There is a window design for each of the 6 geographical regions of the Balloon Federation of American and one for the State of Iowa where the Musem is located.  Balloon Clubs, balloonists and other interested parties are invited to sponsor a window or contribute to the project.  The size of each window is approximately 78" X 28".   Estimated cost is $3,000 per window.  For details on how to make a contribution toward this project contact the museum at (515) 961 3714 or by email
