The Harwell/De Moss Ballooning Library

The Harwell/DeMoss Ballooning Library was dedicated May 20, 2006, on behalf of the Northern Louisiana Ballooning Association.
The memorial is in honor of two Louisiana balloonists, William Wesley Harwell and Sandra Lynn Wilson De Moss who were members of the Northern Louisiana Ballooning Association. They were killed in ballooning accident on May 18, 2005.

The Museum Library contains books, magazines, clippings and other material related to ballooning and the history of ballooning.  The collection includes some rare books. Museum visitors are invited come in and use the library to do research on ballooning.

We are always seeking to enlarge our library collection. Donations of books, videos, magazines or other resource materials related to ballooning and ballooning history are welcome. Please contact our Curator if you have items you would like to donate.
