World's Youngest Balloon Pilot Visits Indianola

Bobby Bradley, age 9, currently the World's youngest hot air balloon pilot visted Indianola during the
National Balloon Classic July 29 - August 6.

Bobby had his first solo flight in May of 2011.  He is the son of Troy Bradley who is a multi record holder in both
gas and hot air balloons, and is currently President of the Balloon Federation of America.  Troy was his instructor. 
Bobby's balloon is named "Heavenly Dream" and it is an ultra-light.  The balloon has a volume of 32,00 cubic
feet, and has a weight of 58 pounds.  

Bobby and his father did a program and PowerPoint show at the National Balloon Museum on July 30th about
both Troy's record setting flights, the building of Bobby's balloon, and Bobby's training and his first solo balloon
flight. 

While in Indianola Bobby inflated his balloon and did a tethered flight at the before the crowd of spectators at 
the balloon field at the National Balloon Classic on Saturday July 30th.  Some pictures of that appear below.
