The National Balloon Museum dedicates itself to providing the public with a comprehensive understanding of ballooning and its history through its exhibitions and collections. The museum archives more than 200 years of ballooning, hosts 6,000 visitors a year (with 20 countries in attendance) and operates on more than 2,000 volunteer hours annually.
The National Balloon Museum is a volunteer organization operated entirely by volunteers; and is funded entirely by admission fees, donations, Gift Shop sales and membership fees.
The museum welcomes any and all donations of ballooning related items suitable for exhibit. Please contract the curator for details.
