This Sunday July 27, 2014, starting at 1PM, The National Balloon Museum, 1601 North Jefferson Way (Highway 65/69), in Indianola, Iowa will hold the annual U.S. Ballooning Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony.
This annual event honors the pioneers of ballooning that have been selected based on "exemplary contribution to the history, development or growth of ballooning in the United States".
The 2014 inductees are Nikki Caplan (Missouri), Chauncey Dunn (Colorado) and Don Piccard (Minnesota).
General Admission is $3 for age 12 and over. Visitors under 12 are free.
Group Guided Tour Fees:
Ages 5-18 is $1.00
Adults 18 and over $5
No charge for the bus driver and the group's tour leader.
Under age 4 are free
Tours must be arranged in advance.

We are closed the month of January for cleaning BUT all of our hours are flexible depending on tours and their availability.
We can arrange for your tour group to visit a Balloon Repair Station, week days only, at Midwest Balloon Services. They are located at 104 E. Center Street in Truro, IA. For an additional fee:
$5 for age 12 & up and $1 for under age 12. No charge for your tour leader and bus driver.
